Parameter assignment
You can congure the following parameters equally via the parameter interface, the service tool
and the terminal.

Drive order for prole switching
To switch to NDG mode, the DCMD expansion bit "NDG" must be set (see Table A-17 DCMD
expansion bits (Page 320)). In combination with an applicable DCMD drive order (see Table A-16
DCMD signal (Page 319)), the drive travels with the NDG force and energy prole.
Switching proles
The drive switches over to the NDG force and energy prole when the corresponding drive order
with expansion bit is active and the controller is in normal mode. If the NDG mode is activated
or deactivated during travel, the system automatically stops with the congured braking ramp
and continues moving with the applicable force and energy prole after having stopped.
Independent values, which are not inuenced by the force and energy proles described here,
apply to force and energy limiting in the initial or learn run mode.
Drive response in NDG mode
In NDG mode, all drive functions are supported without restriction.
