Required accessories
● Grounding cable, at least 4.0 mm

Grounding the housing
1. Strip the insulation of the grounding cable to 8 mm.
2. Fasten the grounding cable to the ground terminal (left side of the housing).

Connect the grounding cable to the equipotential bonding terminal in accordance with
EN 60079-14.
11.3.3 Care and maintenance
11.3.3.1 Information on care and maintenance

Observe the safety information in section "Use in hazardous areas (Page 29)".
The spring-loaded terminals are maintenance-free. The clamping force of the spring terminals
of the push-in connectors remains constant over time.
Maintenance of the CFU is limited mainly to visual inspections. These inspections of the CFU
may take place during operation.
● Before installing the cover, check the seal for damage and proper fit.
● Tighten screws and cable glands to the correct tightening torque
● The pressure compensation element is maintenance-free. If a pressure compensation
element is damaged, it must be replaced immediately.
