11.2 Grounding for configuration with SIMATIC CFU with aluminum
housing
Equipotential bonding
You must set up an equipotential bonding in hazardous areas acc. to IEC 60079-14.
● By mounting the CFU on the top hat rail, a conductive connection to the aluminum housing
is made via the clamp attachment.
● CFU PA: The shields of the fieldbus cables must be connected to the shield terminals.
