The starting and finishing time of the automation functions are signaled by
batch control. Batch data preparation assigns to these messages the current
number of the step in the control recipe (see Chapter 4.4) and saves it to the
corresponding database table.
The setpoint values are taken by batch control from the database table of the
control recipe. Actual values are read by batch control from the interface
blocks of the AF and entered in the corresponding BATCH flexible database
tables.
