7.5 Exporting batch data (via BOM)
You can export batch data as an ASCII file. To do so you must select the
batch to be exported from the batch overview list in BOM and then select the
’Export’ function from the tool bar or from the ’Batch flexible’menu. In the
next menu you should specify the path and the name of the export file. The
file type is.bfx. Select’Save’to start the export procedure. A warning message
will be issued if, for example, the batch has been released but has not yet
been completed. Nevertheless the export procedure can still be carried out.
Following successful export the completed batches will be assigned the
status’exported’.
The export data consist of:
S Batch data
S original control recipe
S modified control recipe if it differs from the original control recipe and
also the
S corresponding plant data
Note
This function cannot be implemented unless you have the corresponding user
privileges (see Chapter 3.3.5).
In BOM you can import the data of an exported batch provided no changes
have been made to the export file (see Chapter 3.3.3) importieren.
Batches which have been assigned to a production order can be exported but
with these batches the ’exported’ identifier will not be set.
