This setting makes it possible to distin
guish a column either with a partial
border or a background color (as
shown below).

The dynamic length of the text makes
it impossible to define the height of the
price field in advance and thus the
color (or frame) of the entire column.
However, this can be accomplished us
ing the "Same Height as Parent Object"
setting.

Marking and Manipulating Multiple
Objects
All the previously described tech
niques for defining object characteris
tics with the settings bar are also avail
able for multiple objects.
To do this you must just "mark" the
objects/fields you wish to modify, in
this case the two columns in the list.
There are two ways to do this:
1) hold the <shift> key and click (left
mouse button)on every desired ob
ject or
2) hold the <Ctrl> key and use the
mouse (left button) to draw a rectan
gle. It marks all the objects inside it.

(the marked objects are framed in
gray.)
