Saving motor data to the EEPROM is permanent
When the motor data is saved the converter's EEPROM, the data is permanently stored in
the EEPROM and will never be overwritten by any reset function of the converter.
To change the motor data stored in the EEPROM, the procedure outlined above must be
performed again with the new required motor data.
The SINAMICS G110M system is generally delivered as a completely assembled, Inverter,
Power Module and motor, but it may be necessary to input specific motor data depending on
the requirements of the users application. All the necessary motor data is displayed on the
motor rating label as shown in the following example.
