9.1 Maintenance
The device is maintenance-free, however a periodic inspection according to pertinent
directives and regulations must be carried out.
An inspection can include check of:
● Ambient conditions
● Seal integrity of the process connections, cable entries, and cover screws
●
Reliability of power supply, lightning protection, and grounds
9.2 Replacing the battery
The internal battery pack used with SITRANS F 1010 portable flowmeters may be removed
and replaced when needed.
Battery Pack Removal/Replacement
1. Disconnect power to the unit.
2. Open the flowmeter cover by releasing the two side cover latches.
3. Make sure power to unit is turned off.
