10.3 Moisture in the PNT B (flow sensor)
Moisture or even water droplets in the pressure measurement lines of
pneumotachograph B (flow sensor) can distort the volume flow
measurement. If this is the case, you can proceed as follows:
Switch EVE either to "Standby" mode or switch off the flow sensor
in the system settings (see chapter 4.2.3).
Remove the pneumotachograph from the Y piece and disconnect the
plug from the side panel.
Press the »Aerosol« button.
Hold the pneumotachograph itself or the pressure measurement lines
to the aerosol nebulizer outlet (see chapter 3.4) to let any moisture
escape.
Turn the measurement line connectors upward to prevent condensate
from entering the measurement lines.
