Inspection and functional
checks
Following disinfection, conduct a visual inspection. There must be no
visible cracks or material damage.
Packaging
Standardized packaging material can be used for the packable parts. The
bag must be large enough for all components so that there is no strain on
the seal.
Sterilization
All test lung parts can be autoclaved with steam at 134° C. Load the
autoclave according to the manufacturer’s instructions for use and start
the appropriate program.
Storage
After sterilization, store the system in the sterilization packaging, first
ensuring it is dry and free of contamination.
