• Check drive drum height. On some media, tracking performance may be better when the drive
drum height is between 0.3 and 0.7 mm. When the drive drum is higher, then with some media
a bulge could appear on the left or right side of the media. In this case adding a spacer
(395-180) between the drive drum bearing blocks and the base plate to lower the drive drum,
and adjusting the pinch roller pressure, may help. It may be necessary to replace the drive
drum.
