• Install stator base, then tighten stator base mounting bolts
securely.
Stator base mounting bolt:
8 mm 23 N·m (2.3 kg-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
6 mm 10 N·m (1.0 kg-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
• Apply Thread Lock 1342 to the coil mounting screws.

Flywheel
• Clean flywheel and crankshaft mating surfaces with cleaning
solvent.
• Tighten flywheel nut to specified torque.

09930-49210: Flywheel holder attachment
Flywheel nut: 80 N·m (8.0 kg-m, 58.0 lb-ft)
Final assembly check
Perform the following checks to ensure proper and safe opera-
tion.
• All parts removed have been returned to their original posi-
tions.
• Wire routing match’s service manual illustration. (See page
9-2 to 9-9.)
