• Remove the gearshift shaft
1 by removing the snap ring 2.
• Remove the gearshift pawl lifter
3 and gearshift cam driven
gear
4.
• Remove the gearshift cam stopper arm
5.
• Remove the gearshift cam driven gear bolt.
• Hold the generator rotor using a 27-mm offset wrench, and
then remove the balancer driven gear nut.
• Remove the washer, balancer driven gear, and pin.
• Hold the generator rotor using a 27-mm offset wrench, and
then remove the primary drive gear nut, washer and primary
drive gear.

The primary drive gear nut has left-hand threads.
