PISTON
• Install the piston with the punch mark
1 facing towards the
exhaust side.
• Before installing the piston pin, apply MOLYBDENUM OIL
SOLUTION onto its surface.
% MOLYBDENUM OIL SOLUTION
• Place a clean rag over the cylinder base to prevent the piston
pin circlip from dropping into crankcase. Install the piston pin
circlip

NOTE:
End gap of the circlip should not be aligned with the cutaway in
the piston pin bore.
CAUTION
Use the new piston pin circlip
2 to prevent circlip fail-
ure.
