10-15 TRANSMISSION AND CRANKSHAFT
CRANKCASE INSTALLATION
• Fit the dowel pins and gasket
1.
• Fit the right crankcase on the left crankcase.
• Install the clamp
A to the bolt.
• Tighten the crankcase bolts to the specified torque.
' Crankcase bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
If it is hard to tighten the bolts, separate the crankcase and con-
firm that the transmission parts are assembled correctly.
• Install the oil strainer (No.1) and oil strainer cap

• Inspect the crankshaft, countershaft and driveshaft for smooth
movement.
• Apply grease to the oil seal lip and O-rings

$ 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A”
or equivalent
• Fit the O-rings
3 and spacer
4 to the driveshaft.
CAUTION
Replace the gasket
1 with a new one.
CAUTION
Replace the O-rings with new ones.
