• Install the push rod and push piece

• Apply engine oil to the release bearing

NOTE:
The covered side
e of the bearing
6 should face outside.
• Fit the clutch pressure plate
7.
• Install the clutch springs and clutch spring set bolts.
• Tighten the clutch spring set bolts to the specified torque.
NOTE:
Tighten the clutch spring set bolts diagonally.
$ Clutch spring set bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
• Fit a new gasket
8 and clutch cover
9.
• Tighten the clutch cover bolts diagonally.
$ Clutch cover bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lb-ft)
• Install the brake pedal. (!17-18)
INSPECTION AFTER INSTALLATION
• Engine oil level and oil leakage (!2-10)
• Clutch cable play (!2-16)
• Smooth operation of clutch system
Outside
CAUTION
Replace the gasket
8 with a new one.
