7-10 CLUTCH
• Tighten the clutch sleeve hub nut with the special tool to the
specified torque.
# 09920-53740: Clutch sleeve hub holder
09920-31020: Extension handle
$ Clutch sleeve hub nut: 90 N·m (9.0 kgf-m, 65.0 lb-ft)
• Make sure the clutch sleeve hub for smooth movement.
• Bend the lock washer to secure the nut.
• Reassemble the clutch plates and pressure plate.
(!7-6, -7)
• Fit a new gasket and clutch cover.
• Tighten the clutch cover bolts diagonally.
$ Clutch cover bolt: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m, 8.0 lb-ft)
• Install the brake pedal. (!17-18)
INSPECTION AFTER INSTALLATION
• Engine oil level and oil leakage (!2-10)
• Clutch cable play (!2-16)
• Smooth operation of clutch system
CAUTION
Replace the gasket with a new one.
