8-6 KICK STARTER
• Install the washer
8 and spring
9 onto the kick starter shaft.
• Install the kick starter shaft assembly onto the crankcase.
NOTE:
Securely engage the stopper portion
C of the kick starter with
the stopper guide
D.
• Hook the end of return spring to the crankcase.
• Install the kick starter idle gear
0.
• Reassemble the clutch component parts. (!7-9, -10)
• Install the dowel pins, gasket
A and O-ring
B.
• Install the right crankcase cover
C.
# Right crankcase cover bolt: 11 N·m (1.1kgf-m, 8.0 lb-ft)
CAUTION
Use the new gasket
A and O-ring
B to prevent oil
leakage.
CAUTION
Use the new gasket washer
E to prevent oil leakage.
