5) If OK, then check the continuity between each terminal and
ground.
# Injector resistance: ∞ Ω (Infinity)

! 09900-25008: Multi-circuit tester set
$ Tester knob indication: Resistance (Ω)
Are the resistance and continuity OK?
Step 2
1) Connect a 12 volts battery using the battery lead wire to ser-
vice coupler. ("12-22)
2) Insert the needle pointed probe to the lead wire coupler.
3) Measure the injector voltage between Red wire and ground.

Is the voltage OK?
YES Go to Step 2.
NO Replace the injector with a new one. ("13-16)
YES
• Gr/W wire open or shorted to ground, or poor


connection.
• If wire and connection are OK, intermittent trou-
ble or faulty ECM.
• Recheck each terminal and wire harness for
open circuit and poor connection.
• Replace the ECM with a known good one, and
inspect it again.
NO Open or short circuit in the Red wire.
