7. Loosen the drive pulley setscrew (A,
Figure 12D-11).
8. Remove the pulley and key (B) from the drive
motor shaft.
9. Remove two bolts (C) and nuts (D) from the drive
motor.
10.Remove the drive motor from the deck.
DRIVE MOTOR INSTALLATION
1. Position the drive motor on the deck. Secure
motor with two bolts and nuts.
2. Position the key and drive pulley on the drive
motor shaft. Secure the pulley by tightening the
setscrew.
3. Place the drive belt on all pulleys. Place tension
on the spring and hook the spring on the anchor
bolt.
4. Install the drive belt cover.
5. Using tags created during removal, remove plugs
and install hoses to drive motor fittings.
CASTER WHEELS
The two caster wheels are mounted on the front of the
cutterdeck. The wheels can be removed, inspected,
and installed using Figure 12D-12.
Maintain air pressure in caster tires at 22-24 psi (152-
165 kPa) to maintain cutting height. Check air pressure
while tires are cool. Inflate tires equally to maintain cut-
ting height from side to side.

REMOVING BLADES
1. Lift and support the cutterdeck.
2. Shut down the engine and remove the ignition
key.

WARNING
Keep hands clear of blades. The blades may rotate
when bolt is loosened. The blades may be sharp and
can cause severe personal injury.
