ASSEMBLY
1. Clean all components thoroughly.
2. Lubricate all internal components with clean
hydraulic oil.
3. Using the seal kit as a guide, replace the rod
guide seals and backup rings.
4. Replace the piston seals and backup rings.
5. Position the piston on the rod and secure with the
piston nut. Place the rod assembly in a soft jaw
vise or place wooden blocks between the vise
jaws and rod. Tighten the piston nut to 90 ft-lbs
(122 Nm).
6. Lubricate the rod with clean hydraulic oil. Install
the rod guide onto the rod.
