DRIVE MOTOR REMOVAL
1. Shut down the engine and remove the ignition
key.
2. Clean the deck drive motor and surrounding area.
3. Tag and disconnect the hoses from the drive
motor. Immediately plug the hoses and motor
ports to prevent contamination of the hydraulic
system.
4. Remove the drive belt cover.
5. Disconnect idler pulley tension spring (S,
Figure 12D-10).

6. Remove the drive belt from the drive motor pulley.
Actual height may vary due to tire pressure or condition.
