23.3.2 Summary As of Smart-Vue 2.0.3, a feature was implemented to better handle a
computer system crash, where it becomes necessary to reinstall the entire
system on a physically different server.
Previously, it was necessary for technicians perform a complete system
installation, then add receivers one-by-one, followed by modules.
Starting with Smart-Vue 2.0.3, all you need to do is copy all the required
folders (presumably from a recent and reliable system backup) to the
expected location on the new computer, and run the service registration
command (SVUServiceReg) using the "/reinstall" option.
The component creates, saves, and starts all the services (server, AMS,
MySQL, and above all, all the SmartService services).
Overall, this improvement saves technicians time and increases reliability.
