12.2.2 Typical Installation The following diagram shows two examples of a typical installation with
network receivers.

12.2.3 How it Works The Smart-Vue network receiver enables you to access remote modules from
the Smart-Vue Client monitoring application. Once installed, this receiver
operates transparently as if it were connected directly to your Smart-Vue
Server computer, like a USB receiver. The only difference is that the
network receiver resides on your Ethernet network and communicates via
TCP/IP.
