BASIC OPERATIONS
8 While keeping the reference dot within the inner alignment mark based on the alignment
bar, move the main body back and forth.
When alignment is obtained, the shape of the inner alignment mark is changed to a
mark.
If the main body is too close to the patient's eye, relative to the alignment position,
TOO CLOSE, or if it is too far, FORWARD, are displayed on the color LCD monitor
screen.
The alignment bar is displayed with a broken line when the instrument is near the
patient's eye, and with a solid line when it is apart. The alignment bar becomes
shorter as the alignment position comes closer.
Also, each display appears only when the reference dot is near the inner align-
ment mark.
If the patient's eye comes too close to the instrument, "TOO CLOSE" is shown. If it
comes to the main body further, the buzzer sounds. As the main body doesn't
comes to patient any more, use the control lever in order to move it.
