9.4 STEPPING MOTOR ASS’Y

4) Replace the stepping motor ass’y with a new one, then reassemble in the reverse order of
removal.
CAUTION!
Do not remove any springs or screws of the stepping motor ass'y in the figure above.
This ass'y has the special structure in which the screws adjust the tension of the springs and then the springs
adjust the tension of the platen belt accordingly. If the screws are mistakenly removed, it may cause poor print
quality.
