6) Replace the media sensor ass’y with a new one, then reassemble in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: After replacing the media sensor ass’y, refer to Section 5.7 to adjust the sensor level for the media to be
used.
9.11.2 Media Sensor Ass’y (For the T3 Series)
1) Remove the side panel (L). (Refer to Section 3.2.)
2) Open the top cover. (Refer to Section 3.1.)
3) Turn the head lock lever to the Free position to open the ribbon shaft holder plate.
4) Lift the lever and then remove the screw used for fixing the media sensor (lower).
5) Return the lever to its original position.
