1) Open the top cover. (Refer to Section 3.1.)
2) Open the print head block.
3) Push the hook through the rectangle hole with a fine tool to remove the platen holder cover.
4) Remove the strip plate. Slide the platen ass’y to the right to remove the platen holder.
5) Slide the platen ass’y to the right until the entire pulley appears.
6) Pull the platen in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove it from the printer.
