6.5.3.1.7 Output Preset
The zero point of the measuring system can be adapted to the mechanical zero point via the Preset
register. The desired preset value must be in the range of 0 to (measuring range in steps – 1),
otherwise the preset adjustment function will not be executed and in TR-Status1, Bit 3 Preset
Error is set to = 1.
The preset value is set as new position when the preset adjustment function is executed; see Chapter
6.5.4 on Page 118.
