Wiring RM Devices to PMB
Wire RM bus devices to the PMB ports using the pin assignments indicated in
Figure 4.13. There is a limit of four RM readers, eight I/8 modules, and eight
R/8 modules on a bus.
The RM bus connects RM readers, I/8s, and R/8s to the PMB port connectors.
The RM bus uses half-duplex RS485 with data on pins 2 and 3. Pins 1 and 4 are
used to provide power.

Wiring Wyreless PIMs to the PMB
Wire the PIMS as indicated in Figure 4.14 and Figure 4.15. There is a limit of
16 PIMs and also a limit of 16 Wyreless readers.
Be sure that +12 VDC is connected to pin 1 and GND is connected to pin4.
If pins 1 and 4 are reversed the circuitry may be damaged.
