LED Control
LED control on the iSTAR eX GCM is for read heads connected to the iSTAR
eX GCM Wiegand ports.
LEDs on read heads connected to the iSTAR eX PMB RM ports are controlled
by the RM-4 or RM-4E.
Jumper 2 (JP2) and Jumper 3 (JP3) on iSTAR eX GCM provide the same LED
control that is available on the RM-4 and RM-4E except that the External Bi-
color 1 wire (yellow) mode is not supported.
Table A.2 shows possible jumper settings of JP2 and JP3 on the iSTAR eX

LED Control
If JP2 is Off and JP3 is On, the Function is External Bi-color, which refers to the
two LEDs (Red and Green) in the reader. The function is essentially Tri-color
because in some cases the LEDs will appear as Yellow when both LEDs are on.
