The second example is a simple box with additional lines above and
below the box. To create this style of border:
1 Create the box border around the titles as explained above.
2 Add a blank line above the first title in the sequence, then
add another below the last title. Set these two lines to use
the smallest possible font and size. See “Font & Size Menu”
on page 99 to learn how to set these attributes.
3 Position the cursor in the blank line above the box, then
apply a border below it.
4 Position the cursor in the blank line below the box, then
apply a border above it.
The third example is a box with lines separating the individual titles
within. To create this style of border:
1 Create the box border around the titles as explained in the
first example above.
2 When you return to the Editing Screen, press
UNDO to
remove the start and end marks.
3 Position the cursor in the second line, inside the box.
4 Display the Border Styles menu and apply the box border
style to this line.
5 Repeat steps 3 and 4 as necessary to create border lines for
each line in the title.
The fourth and final example places lines between each line in a title.
To create this style of border:
1 Position the cursor in the first line you want to include in the
border arrangement, then press
MARK START.
2 Insert a blank line following the last line you want to include
in the border.
3 Move the cursor to the blank line you just created, then
press
MARK END.
4 Display the Border Styles menu and apply the border above
style.
Tip
Special symbols, such as bullets and diamonds, can also be used
to create attractive borders. Simply create a blank line where you
want the border to appear and fill it with whatever symbol or sym-
bols you want to use.
