WHAT YOU NEED
First, as stated above, make sure your equipment is set up and working
correctly.
You need some raw footage (that is, a video tape with something
recorded on it) to serve as input. It really doesn’t matter what the tape
contains, but it should have about 5 minutes or more of material on it.
Note
The tutorial explains how to create a project and display it on a
video monitor using video from an input device. The tutorial
does not explain how to record the finished program to an out-
put device. To learn how to do the latter procedure, see Chapter
12, Playing and Recording Projects.
