Chapter 5 Working with Projects

CAUTION
After creating a new project, you should add at least one title
to it, or give it a name (as described in the next section). If you
dont do one of these steps, Personal TitleMaker automati-
cally deletes the project the next time you display, then exit,
the Page Index Screen. The way around this is to press NEW
LINE OK to exit into the empty project.
NAMING PROJECTS
We recommend you name all projects. This helps identify each project
to ensure you don’t mistakenly change or delete important ones. Use
project names that remind you of the project’s purpose and content.
Project names are especially useful when projects contain similar
content.
Project names can be up to 20 characters long. Names can contain any
character you can type on the keyboard.
Project names appear only on the Page Index Screen, in the project
header areas.
To name a project:
1 Press
PAGE INDEX to display the Page Index Screen.
2 Use the
ARROW keys to locate the project you want to name.
The first item in the project header contains an icon, the
project number, and enclosing square brackets between
which you can enter the project name.
