14 Press TAB once more to move to the bottom sub-menu, use
the
ARROW keys to highlight the first option (the one with
the clock), then type 15.
This step sets the page’s duration to 1.5 seconds (the amount of
time the page remains on the screen). You do not need to type the
decimal point between the 1 and 5, Personal TitleMaker under-
stands what you want to enter.
15 Press
NEW LINE OK to return to the Editing Screen.
Notice that the page header shows the icon for the fade transition
you selected and the duration you specified.
LESSON 4
CREATE PAGE THREE
Page three is a duplicate of page two with some addi-
tional lines added. The first new line is blank and
serves as a separator. The second line contains a
series of bullet symbols (•) and serves as another
type of separator. The third new line contains the year
of the tour, 1997.
You can create the page in two ways: re-type the text from the preced-
ing page (Touring London) then add the new text, or copy the preced-
ing page then add the new text. For this lesson you’ll use the copy
method to help you understand how to use it.
You’ll also learn a useful trick in this lesson — how to introduce other
lines of text to existing titles. That is, when page two finishes playing,
page three appears and the titles from page two (Touring London) look
as though they remained on screen, when in fact they have gone away.
1 Press
SHIFT+DOWN ARROW then SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW to move
the cursor to the end of page two.
2 Press
NEW PAGE to create page three. Note that the page
inherits its attributes from page two, as shown in the page
header. This is true whenever you create new pages.
