POSITIONING TITLES ON A PAGE
You can center each title on a page, or align it against the left or right
edge. You can also set vertical positioning at the top, middle, or bottom
of the page.
When you type text, it appears (by default) at the center of
the screen. You can adjust the position using the
POSN (posi-
tion) key and one of the
ARROW keys.
Horizontal Positioning
Use horizontal positioning to align a title at the left, center, or right of
the page.
To position a title horizontally:
1 Insert the cursor in the title you want to adjust, or mark the
text in a block of titles.
2 Press and release
POSN. Do not hold the key down. This
places cursor in position mode for only 5 seconds. The cur-
sor does not flash while in position mode.
3 Press the RIGHT ARROW or LEFT ARROW key.
Each time you press
POSN then LEFT or RIGHT ARROW, the title moves
left and right. So, if the title is aligned left and you press
POSN, then the
RIGHT ARROW key, the title moves back to the center. Continue pressing
the key combinations until the title is aligned as you want it.
