Chapter 10 Working with Borders
107
When you select Pixel or Rainbow borders you are, in effect, specifying
a pattern for the border itself. Border Patterns are similar to any other
type of pattern. These options work the same as those on the Pattern
menu described on page 93.
Borders work on complete lines only — that is, you cannot place a bor-
der around a part of a line.
You can place borders around multiple lines. To do so:
1 Position the cursor anywhere in the first line, then press
MARK START.
2 Move the cursor anywhere in the last line you want to
include in the border, then press
MARK END.
3 Make border selections.
CREATING COMPLEX BORDERS
Creating complex borders is an easy task once you know the proce-
dures. Consider the following examples.
The first example is a simple box around multiple titles. To create this
style of border:
1 Position the cursor anywhere in the first line, then press
MARK START.
2 Move the cursor anywhere in the last line you want to
include in the border, then press
MARK END.
3 Display the border menu and choose the box border style.
