Detailed information about each of the function keys appears in vari-
ous sections of this guide. Refer to the index for specific references.
Arrow Keys — Use the four arrow keys to position the
cursor on the editing screen, select items from menus,
and, when playing pages, go forward and backward to
the previous and next pages. Pressing
SHIFT in combina-
tion with any arrow key instructs Personal TitleMaker to
work with only one page at a time. Pressing
CMD in con-
junction with the up or down arrow key moves to the
top or bottom of all text. Pressing
CMD+SHIFT+UP or DOWN arrow key
moves between projects.
Page Keys —
PAGE INDEX displays an index in
which each page occupies one line. The index is use-
ful for looking through all pages and projects.
NEW
PAGE creates a new page for a project. You add title
text to the individual pages. Pressing
CMD+NEW PAGE creates a new
project when the page index is on screen. See Chapter 5, Working with
Projects and Chapter 6, Working with Pages.
Play Keys — Two
PLAY keys exist; one directly to the left
of the space bar and another directly to the right of the
NEW PAGE key. Both keys perform the same function.
After creating titles, press either
PLAY key to play the titles for display or
recording. Press
CMD+PLAY to begin playing from the first page in the
current project. During playback, press
PLAY again to go to the next
page; press
SHIFT+PLAY to play backwards; press the arrow keys to
manually step forward or backward. See Chapter 12, Playing and
