Safety hazard due to incorrect spare parts!
Incorrect or faulty spare parts may affect safety and
cause damage, malfunctions or failure.
Therefore:
– Only use original spare parts from the manufacturer.
Procure spare parts via contracted dealers or directly from the manufacturer.
HP Ink cartridges
Material damage can be caused by spraying ink!
Spitting results in increased ink consumption and can
lead to undesirable contamination of the environment.
Therefore:
Hold an absorbent cloth in front of the nozzle plate of the
ink cartridge.
The specified drying times can be reduced by additional heat treatment (hot-air
blower, IR heater). The open time can be extended by spit pulse programming.
Please note the ink specific settings for head voltage, fire time, spitting and warming.
There is the possibility to set up the ideally standard values for the respective ink type on
the system.

Furthermore the ink types can set up with the iDesign software or the Web interface.
It makes sense to change the values carefully depending on the application.
After the insertion of a new cartridge the ink counter must be reset and the
temperature measurement must be calibrated.

The settings can be made with the iDesign software below Functions / System
settings / Advanced settings.
1x ink cartridge, color black, volume per cartridge 42 ml.
Specially developed, highly pigmented HP ink.
Well suited for sharp edged print on absorbent materials.
Drying:
Good on absorbent surfaces; ink does not dry on poorly
absorbent surfaces since the pigments remain on the surface.
Open time without loss of quality:
Approx. 15 minutes (depending on print resolution and print
image).
