Inserting / remove the HP ink cartridge
With the printing process switched on, a print head electronics fault may arise.
Therefore:
Replace the cartridge only when the printing process is switched off.
Inserting the ink cartridge:
1. Remove the protective foil from the nozzle plate.
Use the ink cartridge as soon as possible after having removed the protective foil.
2. Before replacement of the cartridge, wipe the nozzle plate once with a lint-free cloth.
3. Insert the ink cartridge in the cartridge holder as illustrated.

4. Click the ink cartridge by lightly pressure at the end.

If a new ink cartridge is inserted, the cartridge counters must be reset.

The correct place of an ink cartridge is also shown on the display below status
menu 1.

Remove the HP ink cartridge from the print head:
1. Press diagonal upwards at the end of cartridge.
