BATTERY
Refer to “GENERAL” in chapter 3.
FUSE
1. Check:
● Fuse holder continuity
No continuity → Check the fuse
holder leads.
● Fuse holder lead continuity
No continuity → Replace.
Continuity → Check the fuse.
2. Check:
● Fuse continuity
No continuity → Replace.
● Fuse rating
Out of specification → Replace.
WIRE HARNESS
1. Check:
● Wire harness continuity
No continuity → Replace.
WIRE CONNECTIONS
1. Check:
● Wire connections
Poor connections → Properly con-
nect.
Fuse rating:
12 V - 10 A
STARTER RELAY
1. Check:
● Starter relay condition
Out of specification → Replace.
Checking steps:
● Connect the tester between the starter
relay terminals as shown.
Tester positive lead 1 →
Starter relay terminal
Tester negative lead 2 →
Starter relay terminal
● Check that there is no continuity
between the starter relay terminals.
● Connect the tester and battery
between the starter relay terminals.
