Device Charge LED
Indicator does not
light when device
inserted.
Cradle is not receiving
power.
Replace the device in the cradle. Go to Settings >
About phone > Battery Information > Charge
Status to view battery status.
Battery is faulty. Verify that other batteries charge properly. If so,
replace the faulty battery.
Device is not inserted
correctly in the cradle.
Remove the device and reinsert it correctly. Verify
charging is active. Go to Settings > About phone >
Battery Information > Charge Status to view
battery status.
Ambient temperature of
the cradle is too warm.
Move the cradle to an area where the ambient
temperature is between 0 °C (32 °F) and 35 °C (95
°F).
Device Charge LED
indicator is a fast
blinking red when
device inserted.
Ambient temperature of
the cradle is too low or
too high.
Move the cradle to an area where the ambient
temperature is between 0 °C (32 °F) and 35 °C (95
°F).
Charging has gone on
too long without
completion (typically
eight hours).
Verify that other batteries charge properly. If so,
replace the faulty battery.
