4.2 Installing the Instrument
You are not responsible for installing PLEX® Elite 9000 hardware or
software.
The PLEX® Elite 9000 arrives with its table and associated compo-
nents on a pallet in a number of separate shipping boxes. Do not
allow institution personnel to unpack or open any of these
containers.
On arrival, the ZEISS Field Representative will carefully unpack and
assemble all system components at the location you have selected
for its placement. Once the PLEX® Elite 9000 is assembled, a ZEISS
Service Representative will set up an appointment to install the
PLEX® Elite 9000 software.
When the instrument installation is complete, configure the
software (see Configuring Software [}57]).
