Removing the ball bearing block
Use this procedure to remove the ball bearing block.

Remove the necessary carriage side cover,
rack covers, the end cover (if present) and
the mechanical stop.

WARNING
Turn off all electric power and pneumatic
pressure supplies to the robot and for IRBT
2005.

A Lubrication tube connector
Disconnect the lubrication tube connector
for the ball bearing block.

Use a jack to secure the height of the car-
riage plate (don't rise it more than 1 mm).
WARNING
Rising the carriage more than 1 mm can
seriously damage the remaining three ball
bearing blocks.
