FID ignition problems
If your FID detector is not igniting properly, check the following:
• The gases are plumbed correctly.
• The system is leak free.
• The flow rates are set correctly.
• External lines have been well purged.
• The detector is contaminant free.
• The ignitor is operational.
• The jet is not damaged (check for scores, galls, a crimped tube) or plugged.
