Note If the ∆PRT is not properly connected to the detector interface card, filament
burnout can occur.
Error messages
The main board will deliver a Fault 216/217 error, Front/Back TCD
filament open, if the ∆PRT is shorted out. With a shorted ∆PRT, the block
temperature will appear to be very low, and so the filament temperature will
be increased until the main board senses excessive filament resistance and
shuts the detector down, or the filament fails.
The main board will deliver a Fault 218/219, F/B TCD filament shorted,
if the ∆PRT fails open. The detector card will sense infinite temperature in
the block and not power the filament.
