Press and hold the switch on the bottom of one of the solenoid
valves until no residual air pressure remains. (7890A GC shown
below; 7820A GC is similar.)
Turn off the GC and unplug the power cord. If installed, allow the
heated valve box to cool.
Disconnect the valve box heater wires to the A1 connector.
Disconnect the tubing from the broken or damaged solenoid
valve.
