CALibration Subsystem
Read the calibration procedure before calibrating. Improper calibration can reduce accuracy and
reliability.
CALibration:ADC?
CALibration[:ALL]?
CALibration:COUNt?
CALibration:SECure:CODE
CALibration:SECure:STATe
CALibration:STORe
CALibration:STRing
CALibration:VALue
CALibration:ADC?
Performs a low-level calibration of the ADC (analog-to-digital converter) circuitry.
You must unsecure the instrument to calibrate it or to change the calibration string or security code.
Parameter Typical Return
(none) 0 (successful) or 1 (unsuccessful)
Calibrate the ADC:
CAL:ADC?
l This is the first step in a re-calibration sequence, and must be done before doing the offset calibration.
CALibration[:ALL]?
Performs a calibration using the calibration value based on the function and range (CALibration:VALue). Note that a
short must be applied for the resistance and voltage measurement functions, and the inputs must be open for the
current measurement functions.
You must unsecure the instrument to calibrate it or to change the calibration string or security code.
Parameter Typical Return
(none) +0 (pass) or +1 (fail)
Perform a zero calibration of the ACV measurement function and return a pass/fail indication:
CONF:VOLT:AC
CAL:SEC:STAT OFF,MY_CAL_CODE
CAL:VAL 0.0
CAL?
CAL:STOR
CAL:SEC:STAT ON
l This query increments the instrument’s calibration count (CALibration:COUNt?) and modifies the volatile version
of the calibration constants. Use CALibration:STORe to save these constants in nonvolatile memory at end of
calibration.
