4 Place the I-010G-Q or I-010G-S indoor ONT unit:
a On a flat surface, such as a desk, horizontally resting on its four plastic feet.
Figure NTP 127-1 shows the ONT in this position.

b On a wall (I-010G-S only), by attaching the mounting bracket to the wall and
the ONT to the bracket. (DLP 122).
5 Review the connection locations shown in Figures NTP 127-1 and NTP 127-2.

6 Connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port (DLP 101).
7 Connect the fiber optic cable to the ONT with the SC/APC connector. (DLP 125).
8 Connect the power cable with an AC/DC power adapter to the ONT unit power
connector as shown in Figure NTP 127-2.
Warning — Be careful to maintain a bend radius of no less than 1.18
inches (3.0 cm) when connecting the fiber optic cable. A bend radius in
the cable that is too small can damage the optic fiber.
Note — Observe the following:
• Units must be powered by a Listed or CE approved and marked
limited power source power supply with a minimum output rate of
12 V dc, 2 A.
