4 Place the ONT unit:
a On a flat surface, such as a desk, resting horizontally; go to step 6.

b In a foot mount.
i Snap the foot mount into the channels built into the ONT, ensuring it is
securely held.
ii Place the foot mount and ONT vertically on a flat surface.
